| | | | | | | | Earthquake shakes Australia's south-east coast | | G eoscience Australia reported a magnitude-6 earthquake near Mansfield in Victoria's east at 9:15am AEST.
The quake was felt in Melbourne as well as in Sydney, the ACT, Adelaide and Launceston, down in Tasmania. A second magnitude-4 quake was recorded about 15 minutes later.
The Bureau of Meteorology said there was no tsunami threat from the earthquake. | | | |
